Wow, how time flies, it's been a long time since I have posted and so much has happened. We were removed from our house on March 30, 2012 due to a house fire and just moved back in October 2012. Although it was a long time to not be home our house if all fixed up and looks great. We were able to take advantage of not being in it to do a few remodeling projects that we otherwise may not of got around to doing. I'm working on a before and after slide show that highlights all the changes, I'll posted in the upcoming weeks. Jessie is in here second year of college, finishing up her pre-requisites to enter a dental hygiene program this fall. She has maintained a high GPA and has been working in-between classes. She is still living at home but has become very responsible in the past few years. Nickie will graduate high school this coming June and begin collage in the fall, she is leaning towards an ultrasound technician field. We took the whole family to New York for Nickie's 18th Birthday in October and had a wonderful time visiting and sightseeing. Kyle is in the 4th grade and like any typical 10 year old enjoys PE over all other subjects. He does favor math and is quite good at it. We have a new dog, Jack, he is a lab, golden retriever mix and he is eight months old. We had to make the hard decision this past summer to put our beloved dog Daisy to rest. She became increasing aggressive and after many dog classes, countless trips to the vet, an attempt to re-home her only to get her back after the new family had problems getting her to adjust we had no choice to put her down. It was devastating but under the circumstances the only responsible thing to do. Sooooo, after much research Kyle has a wonderful dog that has fit into our family perfectly. Harold is still working at Camp Murray as the Washington State Distance Learning Manager which he loves and I am still working for American Fast Freight. Our company sold this past December to a financial equity group so the next five years will be very interesting, I’m hoping not too much changes. We hope to do a lot of camping this summer since we didn’t do much last year as our motor home was in storage a friend’s house, we also have our annual trip to Montana planned in July. More to follow so keep checking in!

Fun Day!

Congratulations Jessie! We Love You!

Hiking ~ April 2011

Holy Cow! It's been a long time since I've updatged this!

Wow how time flies when you are having fun. Guess I better get everyone updated so you all can keep up.....BIG STUFF that has happened!

 Jessie graduated high school and is going to Pierce Community Collage getting all her pre requisites done so she can work towards getting accepted to the Dental Hygiene program. It’s very competitive and hard to get in so keep your fingers crossed for her and make sure you give her lots of encouragement

 Nickie has her driver’s license to watch out! I can’t tell you how nerve racking it is having both the girls driving. Scares the heck out of me but slowly but surly I think I’m getting use to the idea.

 Kyle got a new puppy over the holidays, she is a mix of Sheppard and Lab and looks like some Rottweiler. Her name is Daisy and she is growing like a weed. We realized very early on she was going to need some obedience training so that is what we are doing now. She has been in classes and making some progress but she still chews, growls, is skittish around strangers. They say she will grow out of all that so in the mean time. Classes, Classes, Classes

 We have already went on quite a few camping trips this year, Ocean Shores, Mayfield Lake, Lake Easton, American Lake and heading to Wenatchee Confluence this weekend. We have a full summer of camping planned. We also have trips planned to Montana in July, Perygin Lake in August and Goldendale towards the end of August,

 We bought a boat, a Bayliner 17’ It’s a lot of fun now we just have to get rid our jet ski’s, we have some serious parking issues at our house!

 Jessie is working at Apple Bee’s and has been for quite some time.

 Nickie looks ill when we mention anything about getting a job

 My job is going well. Still doing some traveling, I’ve been to Chicago and Orlando a couple times this year. Heading to Hawaii in September to drive the beer card at the golf tournament and going to Atlanta in November. I’m trying to figure out how to squeeze in New York sometime this year. Miss gong there a lot, it’s been a while.

 Harold’s job is going well, he loves it! He has been busy getting ready to move into a new building so he has been really busy. He’s heading to Spokane this week and will meet us in Wenatchee on Friday.

Well that is it in a nut shell. I’ll post some pictures and hopefully keep up on this!

We miss everyone and hopefully we can al get together this summer.

Words to live by:

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.
