Wow, how time flies, it's been a long time since I have posted and so much has happened. We were removed from our house on March 30, 2012 due to a house fire and just moved back in October 2012. Although it was a long time to not be home our house if all fixed up and looks great. We were able to take advantage of not being in it to do a few remodeling projects that we otherwise may not of got around to doing. I'm working on a before and after slide show that highlights all the changes, I'll posted in the upcoming weeks. Jessie is in here second year of college, finishing up her pre-requisites to enter a dental hygiene program this fall. She has maintained a high GPA and has been working in-between classes. She is still living at home but has become very responsible in the past few years. Nickie will graduate high school this coming June and begin collage in the fall, she is leaning towards an ultrasound technician field. We took the whole family to New York for Nickie's 18th Birthday in October and had a wonderful time visiting and sightseeing. Kyle is in the 4th grade and like any typical 10 year old enjoys PE over all other subjects. He does favor math and is quite good at it. We have a new dog, Jack, he is a lab, golden retriever mix and he is eight months old. We had to make the hard decision this past summer to put our beloved dog Daisy to rest. She became increasing aggressive and after many dog classes, countless trips to the vet, an attempt to re-home her only to get her back after the new family had problems getting her to adjust we had no choice to put her down. It was devastating but under the circumstances the only responsible thing to do. Sooooo, after much research Kyle has a wonderful dog that has fit into our family perfectly. Harold is still working at Camp Murray as the Washington State Distance Learning Manager which he loves and I am still working for American Fast Freight. Our company sold this past December to a financial equity group so the next five years will be very interesting, I’m hoping not too much changes. We hope to do a lot of camping this summer since we didn’t do much last year as our motor home was in storage a friend’s house, we also have our annual trip to Montana planned in July. Jessie's Accident ~ July 16, 2011

So thankful Jessie and Amanda are ok.....This is why I lay awake at night and worry myself sick! A care rearended the white SUV who was stopped in the turn lane, the SUV did a 360 thought the middle of the intersection, Jessie was stopped waiting to make a right hand turn and the SUV slammed into her backwards. The car that caused the accicent kept going, sideswiped another care then hit a car headon in the oncoming trafic who was pushed into a truck behind her. Six cars in total,five of which most likley totaled and thankfuly only one person was taken to the hospital. Tell your kids every day how much you love them because you just never know when crazy stuff like this happens! I LOVE YOU JESSIE, NIKIE, KYLE and HAROLD!

Rest In Peace Bob!

Robert Luis Robinson Jr., born January 25, 1943, passed away at home on December 22, 2008 at the age of 65 from natural causes. Bob, (alias Bull’s-eye Bob) was born in Harvey, North Dakota, to Robert Luis Robinson Sr. and Martha Ester Heib. He graduated from Puyallup High School in 1961. He attended Washington State University and the University of Washington. He was employed by Boeing Aircraft Company before beginning a career in real estate. During a brief marriage, Bob had two children; Todd Michael Robinson of Los Angeles, and Lori Lynn Robinson of Olympia. Bob was a competitive person and king of the one liners. He enjoyed in his life activities of bowling, darts, golf, fishing, bridge, and poker. His favorites during retirement were playing Blackjack and Texas holdem tournaments. He was truly an Ace of Spades. In his last years he enjoyed working for Funtastic Carnivals. Bob was a lifelong patron of the Puyallup Fair, and enjoyed working at the fair as the conductor of the train in Kiddy Land. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Martha; sisters, Barbara and Karen; father, Robert; brother Chuck. He is survived by his two children, Todd and Lori; a brother, Tom Robinson of Lacey; several nieces and nephews; and a dog named Joker. He will be laid to rest next to his family at a graveside service planned at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, WA on January 8, 2009. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Funeral Alternatives of Washington, 455 North St SE, Tumwater, WA 98501 to help with the cost of the burial.
